Business Improvement Leadership Course

We offer a three-day immersion course on implementing operational change utilizing Percipio's Business Improvement Approach. The course is designed to teach participants how to create an organization whose culture, practices and structure promote a process-centered enterprise focus. We go beyond theory and discussion to provide a step-by-step approach to continual business improvement. Course objectives:

  • Introduce the fundamentals of process analysis and provide a set of skills which course participants can use to identify opportunities for organizational change
  • Provide a framework through which process change, whether incremental or significant, can be managed through to success
  • Define the organizational structures necessary to sustain continuous business improvement
  • Provide a forum for active discussion on the topic of continual business improvement

The course is delivered in-house directly to your staff, and we also offer it several times per year as an unrestricted course, open to the public.

All companies are looking to improve efficiency and create profitability. The ability to do this effectively and repeatedly is the sole difference between success and failure. As businesses look to expand into new markets or launch new products there is an intense, and justified, effort to ensure success. Yet when it comes to managing on-going operations, the same level of scrutiny and diligence is often absent. As such, critical business issues are only identified when the symptoms become unbearable. Further, when a problem is identified, it is seldom defined thoroughly. This results in an unjustified investment in the market's hottest new system solution or some other equally detrimental quick-fix. Not only are these ineffective solutions expensive and resource intensive, they are perilous – creating a corporate culture skeptical of new initiatives and resistant to change.

How do you avoid this trap? Build an organization that is capable of healing itself. Design your business operations so they can be continually measured and monitored. Empower your employees to quickly identify issues before they become critical problems. Develop the tools and techniques necessary to quickly right the ship. In short, create an environment of continual improvement.
