Percipio led the full lifecycle of a fleet management system transformation, from business case development through system selection, implementation, and enterprise-wide deployment. Our team designed and executed a rigorous selection process, developed and tested 10 system interfaces, and delivered comprehensive training and rollout support. To ensure high-quality baseline data, we conducted a hands-on inventory of more than 1,500 fleet assets.
We managed the end-to-end implementation, including an eight-week rollout across all 15 locations. This effort involved equipping garages with mobile workstations and Wi-Fi, training all end users, and providing onsite support at each location to troubleshoot issues and drive adoption. We also modernized inventory management by integrating an automated interface for parts ordering and tracking.
Within a year of implementation, the client was ranked #11 in the Top 100 Fleets of the Americas, a distinction they attribute to the new systems and processes. The solution streamlined their technology landscape and delivered accurate, actionable insights for both mechanics and leadership. As a result, the organization was able to right-size its fleet, improve accountability, standardize maintenance practices, and make more informed operational and asset-acquisition decisions. The system achieved full payback in less than three years.
